Tuesday August 27th, hot on the heels of our trip to Brighton we took advantage of the exceptional weather and went out on Hurkur for a fishing trip with Andy, Eddie’s cousin. There was not wind out at sea, so it was really hot, but we mustn’t knock it! The boys managed to catch some bream, mackerel and other assorted fish so they were happy. We went to a spot called Elphicks Tree (don’t ask me why!) some 4 miles off Eastbourne pier, a rocky place which always seems to yield good fishing.
