Here we all are at the Chichester Rally, luckily they had a very large pontoon for our party! Afterwards we all went along to Chichester Marina Yacht Club for a lovely meal. We had two weeks on the boat in Chichester, and great weather, really warm for late September. Had a good sail down with the wind and waves behind us and the tides just right. Adam and the girls joined us for a Saturday, we visited the boat show, and went to Bosham to dry out and clean the bottom of the boat, so quite a busy time. Morning Mist were in Chi marina for a while, and Lilybet came along too for a couple of days. The Rally went very well, and the first one we have been to that we didn't organize ourselves, so a good experience. Had a lovely walk the next day to Itchenor, and a carvery lunch in the yacht club there. We left Chi marina on Monday 29th September and sailed to Gosport, stayed there the night and left at 6.30am the next morning to sail back to Eastbourne - another good journey with wind behind us and tides perfect!
Chichester canal – I had a pleasant walk along there, lovely and quiet.
A very, very high tide at Bosham, the sea came up over the quayside, we were smack on Springs!
