Left Eastbourne on Monday 6th May and sailed to Dover, sea a bit uppity round Rye Bay and Dungeness but we made fairly good time and went into the tidal basin in Dover as we planned to leave early the next day near to low tide. A better day on Tuesday to cross the channel especially the French side. We decided to carry on to Nieuwpoort as the Grimbergens were calling. Hasn’t changed much since our last visit and very quiet, only 1 or 2 visitors. Sitting it out until the weather improves again, hopefully tomorrow (10th).
