First sail of the season

We managed to get out for a sail about a week ago at last, weather was very pleasant but the wind still has a chill in it.  Hurkur is now ready to go on her travels, with everything on board except provisions and clothes.  Unfortunately we aren’t yet ready to set off on our Summer Cruise with commitments at home, but hoping to get away soon and who knows where we’ll go?  No set plans as yet.  We tried out the new tender last week as well, and although a little wobblier than the previous one, (the tubes aren’t so big) it has an inflated floor which forms a ‘V’ hull so makes a better ride.  The outboard engine is still behaving itself too, so that’s a bonus.  I am looking out the window and it’s been raining all day – miserable, though we have had some nice days lately.  Roll on Summer.
