On the quayside at Willemstad
We are currently in Hellevoetsluis after going up to Amsterdam and having a re-think, then heading back south. We decided not to carry on with our plan to go to the Baltic, for various reasons it was best for us to abandon that idea. Feeling much more chilled now, enjoying re- visiting old haunts and finding new ones. The weather has been very mixed, but slowly warming up. We had one very hot day and paid for it by getting bitten to bits!
Next stop is Middelharnis recommended by Ros and Crispin. We waved goodbye to Magic’s crew in Amsterdam marina (excellent) and they have had more crew join them and are currently headed to Helgoland I believe. We will carry on making our way south and hoping to meet up with Misty and Blue Diamond somewhere, they are currently in Calais and Dover respectively.
