Nothing much doing on the sailing front lately, pre-Christmas the weather was terrible and it hasn’t improved much since! Wet and windy. We managed to take our sails down during a calm interval, and they have been sent off to be cleaned. We have bought a second hand sewing machine called a Delta sail maker, quite old but very solid. Eddie has been busy mending all the canvas work, and doing a grand job. So far he has re-stitched the dodgers, liferaft cover, etc. which has saved us a lot of money, and is now tackling the cockpit cover and sprayhood, which need new zips put in. I have been typing up the blog for last summers cruise, and we have been to the WOA South Coast Group AGM last year and last weekend to the WOA National AGM in Poole. Both events were very enjoyable, and helped beat the winter blues.

Smart Sailors!
